On the 17th of December, Voices Unleashed presents 'PLUGGED - 2021 Final Event'

A NIGHT OF EXPRESSION AND SUPPORT 
A night to remember.
A night to celebrate.
A night to bring in the microphones and sound systems and let your voices be heard.

In 18 months of Voices Unleashed events, we’ve witnessed how art and self-expression are some of the highest forms of healing, connection, and community building. Which is why, for this final event of the year, we have joined forces with Movement of Recovery.

MOR is the leading organisation in Bali to support people going through mental health challenges such as depression, psychoses, and substance abuse. Our final event of the year is dedicated to help Movement of Recovery raise funds. This allows them to operate and lead projects such as Crisis kitchen, the LISA Suicide Prevention Helpline and their upcoming Crisis Unit in 2022.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, most mental health services ceased to operate and we saw global suicide rates rise. In Bali, we have witnessed loved ones and friends take their own lives, or need professional help and intervention. MOR projects are making a very real and tangible difference to the people residing here. Get behind this, come with generous pockets to allow them to continue the work they do and successfully run the projects which create the catch net to stabilise those most in need.

WHAT TO EXPECT
A lot. A charity raffle to win unique art pieces. A live artwork up for auction on the night. The space itself will be an exhibition to play with your senses. Paintings and photographs. And of course a line-up of some of the best artists on the island showcasing their original work; poetry, spoken word, song, music, and dance.
