This powerful documentary follows the lives of the Bajau Laut, or sea nomads, indigenous people living in stilt-house villages across Malaysian Borneo. Despite centuries of history and ancestral graves on the islands, they are stateless, denied citizenship, education, and basic rights. Their homes and boats are often destroyed, and their children are barred from public schools.
