Sitar Set by Sidharta Siliceo & Ananta
Sidharta Siliceo is a Tulum-based multi-instrumentalist who blends his deep knowledge of classical and Indian music with electronic sound, creating a unique fusion of acoustic instruments and modern production. A pioneer since the early ’90s, he was among the first to combine Caribbean rhythms with techno and sitar with house music. Since 1996, he has performed at renowned global festivals such as Fusion, Day Zero, Gardens of Babylon, and Garbicz. Since 2017, he has collaborated with award-winning dancer Ananta on a multidisciplinary live project, merging emotive sitar melodies with tribal fusion dance and a dynamic mix of organic house, deep house, downtempo, and melodic techno.
