ABOUT THE SOUNDS PROJECT

The Sounds Project began in Depok in 2015 as a small community event, started by its founder while he was still a college student. With nothing more than passion, a small stage, small audience, and a big dream to bring people together through music, what began as a simple idea slowly grew into something much bigger. Over the years, The Sounds Project has evolved into one of Indonesia’s biggest music festivals, with a track record of eight sold-out annual festivals, hundreds of successful pre-events, and more than 500 artists from Indonesia and around the world who have taken the stage — some returning multiple times, others bringing new energy to the ever-growing lineup. Every year, tens to hundreds of thousands of people gather at Ecopark and Ecovention to celebrate music and be part of the experience, sharing unforgettable moments and feeling the unbelievable atmosphere that only The Sounds Project can create.
