Nuanu Stonestage and Basstatic Soundsystem present headliners Mad Twinz and Tiano Bless for BASSTATIC FEST, August 23rd. Deep sets of bass will hit all the sub frequencies - from dubstep to dancehall, glitchhop to beatbox - by an all-star line-up of DJs, featuring dance performers and movement workshops. This day-into-night event runs from 2pm until midnight.

Nuanu Stonestage is Bali’s premier festival venue known for big sound and a lush forest setting, just 10 minutes north-west of Canggu. Come early for the movement workshops, community tea sessions, and art gallery. Stay late for big bass, tribal belly-dance performance, bonfire, and star-filled sky.

Tiano Bless @tianobless is a Chilean singer, songwriter, music producer, instrumentalist and DJ. He has been recognized in the urban music scene for his songs with conscious content, his versatility of styles and for the originality in his musical productions, mainly in Reggae, Dub, Hip Hop, Dancehall, and Drum and Bass - and collaborations with artists and cultural collective in Latin America, Jamaica, Europe, and Indonesia. Big sound, big beats, and big love from this world-music star.

MAD TWINZ @madtwinz - World beat box champions Jayton and Pash are also twins. With a world-wide following and viral online presence, these brothers bring the heat with their polished rhythms, unique sounds and unprecedented vocal skillset. Posh and Jayton in deals already 18 years, work in such a genres as: Hip-Hop, Trap, Future, Pop, House, lechno, Wonky, DnB. Over their career. Mod Twinz have become Grand Beatbox Battle champions (2017) and vice-champions of the Beatbox Battle World Championship (20l8). And now they are actively involved in judging national and world championships. Pash and Jayton are frequent guests on the grand stage as well. They performed at the German Film Awards 2016, Rampage festival 2017, Shambhala festival 2019 and New York Fashion Week 2019.

Roba Grow @robagrow - The founder of Basstatic Dance, and the selector with zero bpm limits.  His Dj sets are visceral and boundless, complemented by future sounds and rhythms of ethnic instruments to fuse connection the body’s movement and our forgotten ancestral past. Roba’s music selection touches a multitude of feelings, from the lightest to the darkest corners of the soul’s yearning to be free. He believes in and practices authenticity, real connection in real time between people and quality bass music’s low end frequencies. Emphasizing the power in the passing melodies in each moment, his sets are never recorded and a camera’s lens could never truly capture the vibe of the dance. Broken, almost formless rhythms and sound give way to maximizing creative spaces for dancers, steppers, shakers!

NRYN @narayan.108 - A wanted beat criminal for audio espionage, sonic nomad NRYN (Cul•Cha Collective, Rhythm Mafia) is smuggling the thickest rhythm refugee cuts to Bali soundsystems. With that original hip hop mindset of playing any kind of track you can shake your @ss to, NRYN sculpts DJ sets to fit the specific time and place of the party - matching the aesthetics and elevating the mood. Bass, afro, latin, hiphop, and downtempo are all well-developed sonic signatures in his crates. Basstatic Fest will feature thick bass cuts inspired by his sonic roots in Northern California, USA. As a hiphop producer, his CulCha Collective events feature original beats played live on samplers and drum machines. And his latest album, CHI, infuses qigong and Shaolin kung fu into downtempo beats with bansuri flute.

Muvs @muvs.music - Muvs is a DJ/producer originally from Russia, currently residing in Bali. He became interested in sound system music in 2017 and began to play at Moscow events, Dub Raw Camp, Suara festival. In his sets, he covers various tempos and genres of music, from future garage and dubstep to drum & bass rollers, trying to make the set a musical journey through sound system music.

Mc Nyoman @shantikungfu -  Daniel is a master of Shanti Kungfu based on classic Hatha yoga, Asian healthy practices and martial arts. As an MC, he is a Raggamuffin, hip-hop, ragga jungle, reggae, and rnb-style artist which spread the vibes with his own lyrics and mantras inna di name of peace, love and prosperity!
