BODIES AS HOME
LIBERATING THE SENSE OF SELF THROUGH THE BODY
With Sanat Mehta & Nurvitria Mumpuniarti
Soften.
Not because you’re weak.
Because awareness begins right there.
Softening is becoming available to what the body has always been holding.
When the body feels safe, perception expands.
When perception expands, possibility expands.
3-Day journeys
Over three half-days, we are exploring awareness that moves through— Self. Other. Field. Time. Expression. Nature. — as lived, ontological experience.
We will be exploring awareness, making ourselves available to Rasa — the intelligence the body carries.
And on the final day — A Non-Performative Performance Practice Showcase.
Through this process, you may begin to notice —
- A body that feels safer to be in
- Clearer perception in complex moments
- More choice in how you respond
- Expression that feels true to your essence
- Deeper, more honest relationships
Your guides :
Nurvitria Mumpuniarti is an impact strategist with over 15 years of experience working across the private and public sectors. Her practice bridges somatics, systems thinking, and relational work through Contact Improvisation, Body-Mind Centering, and ontological coaching. She is driven by an inquiry into the disconnection underlying many of today’s global crises—particularly our separation from the body and the earth. Through her work, she explores how reconnecting to nature and our somatic intelligence can shift how we relate, choose, and live—not as concept, but as a lived experience of being.
Sanat Mehta is a movement and theatre artist whose work bridges dance, theatre, and intercultural performance. His practice is deeply informed by Eastern epistemologies and embodied traditions. He is driven by a curiosity around acting pedagogies, somatic wisdom, and embodied spirituality—explored through Asian performing arts and their dialogue with global theatre and dance traditions. Through this, he inquires into how somatic awareness can transform artistic expression—not as performance to be delivered, but as a lived experience of presence, relation, and meaning-making.
