Savor the flavor of an Indian Bollywood Night with Punnu Singh Wasu and Band, bringing Bollywood to Baliwood! Listen, sing, dance, frolic to the songs of Bollywood, the enduring Hindi cinematic motif of pop Indian Culture, inspired by a combination of Sufi, classical Indian and modern music.

Bhangra is a lively form of folk music and dance that originated in Punjab in Northern India. During Bhangra dancing we use Punjabi Boliyaan, a multitude of high pitched lyrics, along with dhol & dholak drums, flutes and other exotic instruments to create the unique sound that is used in popular modern Indian Cinema, otherwise known as Bollywood. Passionate and ecstatic, spiritual and entrancing, Sufi music acts as a uniquely valuable bridge between East and West reflecting the most accessible, liberal and pluralistic aspects of unity.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Punnu Singh Wasu is an Indian vocalist, musician and songwriter. He was born and raised in Hyderabad, India into a family that has a true love for Kirtan and spirituality. He began studying the harmonium and singing at the tender age of 5. At age 10, Punnu moved on to learning the Indian (Hindustani) Classical Music while traveling with his father throughout India singing the beautiful verses of Kirtan. Later on his knowledge of mandolin became his focal point. Nowadays he performs Kirtan, Indian Fusion, Sufi, Bollywood music as well as Sound Healing around the world. He also leads music workshops in combination with yoga & meditation.

• For special class, workshop and night event, Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to join , there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. Children ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or sibling that is over 18

Refund Policy:
If you are unable to attend this event, you are eligible for a full refund of the ticket price if you contact us at least 24 hours in advance of the published start time. Contact must be made via email to [email protected]  or in person at The Yoga Barn reception desk. We are NOT able to process refunds for any reason if you contact us less than 24 hours prior to the published start time.  We do not cover reimbursement of any associated booking fees that exceed our published ticket price.
Ticket Transfer:
Tickets are not transferrable to another person. The booking is only valid for the person whose name is printed on this ticket.
Late Arrival:
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time. If you arrive after the published start time, you may be denied access and your booking will not be refunded.
Cancellation Policy:
If this event is canceled by The Yoga Barn prior to the start time, you are eligible for a refund of your ticket. We do not cover reimbursement of any associated booking fees that exceed our published ticket price. Please be aware that refunds may take up to 30 days.
