Two of house music's finest decend on the cliffs of Uluwatu this January as Dam Swindle & Tom Trago arrive in Bali. Dam Swindle (fka Detroit Swindle), comprised of Lars Dales & Maarten Smeets have been producing quality house jams together for well over a decade, cementing themselves in the global dance music ecosystem with catchy vocal hooks, snappy percussion and floor filling basslines. Trago, another Dutch native has been revered in the underground dance music space for just as long, his productions, remixes and live shows touching all corners of the globe. Join us as we welcome them to the island of the gods this January.

DAM SWINDLE
The Dutch duo, renowned for their dynamic musical storytelling, seamlessly connect soundscapes from deep to disco, tech to soul, joining the dots between the past and present. While House music may be deeply rooted within the Dam Swindle sound, their musical palette draws from a vast spectrum.

Avid collectors of vintage and contemporary records, their DJ sets traverse classic house, obscure disco, African funk, soulful techno, and more, all with the aim of making those special moments that crowds never forget. It is for that reason that their name has become a real stamp of authority and invention in the dance music world. Whatever they do, then, this pair do with irresistible charm.

TOM TRAGO
Since making his debut in 2006, Trago has released six critically acclaimed albums; extensively worked with Dutch electronic music institutions Rush Hour and Dekmantel; collaborated with countless friends and contemporaries (Charlie Soul Clap, Awanto 3, Maxi Mill, Steffi, San Proper, Seth Troxler, and BokBok included); remixed artists including New Order, Carl Craig, Cassius, Tiga and Erol Alkan, and championed a swathe of fellow Dutch producers via the Voyage Direct label he founded in 2009.

In 2023, Tom returned to Rush Hour after a decade away (via the stunningly emotive listening album, Deco) and reignite his Voyage Direct imprint with the label’s first new music in five years. Further in the future, we can expect new projects including a new ‘west coast holland’ inspired album of electro and IDM-informed experiments, the release of a full-length album for his band Mega Wega, and music from the Shoebox side project (a collaboration with Voyage Direct artist Maxi Mill). It's clear Tom is still woklring as hard as ever.
