Douglas Lim is a household name in Malaysia, known for his razor-sharp wit and comedic flair that have lit up screens, stages, and corporate events for over two decades. Dubbed the "King of Malaysian Comedy," Douglas first stole the spotlight as the flamboyant Steven the Stylist on the iconic sitcom Kopitiam, earning a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy at the Asian Television Awards.

From hit TV shows like Homecoming and Spanar Jaya X to crowd-pleasing films like Hati Malaya and Los & Faun, Douglas has brought his signature humor to every platform. He’s also a staple in the theatre world, starring in beloved musicals like P. Ramlee, Supermokh, and Ola Bola.

As the founder and headliner of the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC), Douglas led a decade-long run of sold-out shows across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia, culminating in the blockbuster "MACC Mania X: The Goodbye Tour" in 2019.

Douglas’s talents have taken him far beyond Malaysia, with standout performances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and an acclaimed run at New York’s Off-Broadway Public Theatre in Thicker Than Water.

Offstage, Douglas runs Hilarity Ensues Sdn. Bhd., a comedy consultation company that crafts killer content for top brands like Celcom, Samsung, and Nestle. When he's not cracking jokes, he's probably crafting them.
