🙏🏻 We offer our volunteering events as paid cultural experiences, as volunteering in Indonesia is generally not permitted under immigration regulations (as it can be considered unauthorized work). Offering our English Class as a 50k Megatix activity allows everyone to participate while respecting Indonesia’s laws.

💛 Let’s empower underprivileged local children through English and help them build a brighter future. Because here in Bali, English opens doors to job opportunities in tourism and beyond and can be a powerful step toward breaking the cycle of poverty!

No special teaching skills are required. Our local English teachers lead the lessons and prepare the exercises — volunteers simply support our EMPOWER kids by practicing and communicating with them.

To comply with Indonesian law, which doesn't allow volunteering, we offer our Community Kitchen as a paid Cultural Experience rather than a free volunteer event. This allows us to give back meaningfully, while respecting local regulations.

100% of the proceeds go directly to our non-profit EMPOWER Program of the Happiness Foundation, supporting underprivileged local children in need right here in Bali.
