Mawun Valley Farm Tour, Harvest & Taste Experience

Come and experience a slow walk through Mawun Valley Farm — a living tropical farm where fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, animals, and people grow together.

During the tour, you’ll explore our gardens and discover around 30 different types of fruit trees, alongside seasonal vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, beans, peanuts, sugar cane, and more.

You’ll also walk through our herbal gardens, where we grow ginger, mint, tarragon, lemongrass and other plants that find their way into our kitchen and drinks at Noni’s Farm Café.

Along the way, we’ll share some of the simple and traditional practices we use to care for the land — including our traditional irrigation system, natural approaches to improving and protecting the soil, and the different plants we grow to help manage pests, parasites and unwanted predators. It is a chance to see how we try to work with the farm’s natural ecosystem rather than against it.

Your experience includes:

• Guided Farm Tour — Explore our fruit trees, vegetable gardens, herbs, animals, growing methods and everyday life around the farm.

• Traditional & Natural Growing Practices — Discover our irrigation system and some of the plants and natural methods we use to care for the soil and help control pests and parasites.

• Farm Fun & Games — Test your aiming skills with our lighthearted “Catch the Duck” Ring Toss. Don’t worry — no real ducks are involved, only fun targets!

• Seasonal Farm Harvest — When the garden allows, pick a small seasonal harvest yourself and take it home with you — something real from the farm to remember your visit by.

• Tea at Noni’s Farm Café — After the walk, slow down and enjoy any tea of your choice from our café menu.

• Farm-Made Fruit Jam — Your tea is served with a taste of our homemade seasonal jam, usually cashew apple, jackfruit or pineapple, made from fruits grown here at the farm.

This is not a polished plantation or a commercial agricultural tour. Mawun Valley is a working, evolving farm. What is growing, flowering, fruiting and ready to harvest changes with the seasons.

It is a place to wander, get your hands a little dirty, ask questions, play, pick something from the garden, taste something grown here, and experience a little of our everyday life.
