In ancient cultures across Africa, Asia, and beyond, “the Mysteries” referred to the sacred teachings hidden within life itself. These were not philosophies to be memorized, but experiences to be embodied. Access required silence, presence, creativity, trust and courageous action. These qualities transformed the initiate, who became the living altar, the path, and the offering. 
Kamau Abayomi’s Living the Mysteries is an interdisciplinary art experience born from this lineage. Through poetic transmission, movement as prayer, and energetic transmission, and in-the-moment revealing, this work awakens the remembrance of your own Soul journey.
