Kokedama Workshop - Labyrinth Art Gallery
Kokedama Workshop by Magic Garden
Presented by Labyrinth Art Gallery – Liana Riverie: Vivid Colours Activation Program
Join us for a hands-on, nature-inspired workshop designed to complement the exhibition Liana Riverie: Vivid Colours. In collaboration with Magic Garden, this session invites participants to create their own kokedama—a traditional Japanese botanical art form where plants are wrapped in soil and moss, forming a living sculpture that celebrates balance between nature, craftsmanship, and imagination.
Guided step-by-step by experienced facilitators, participants will learn the fundamentals of kokedama making, from preparing soil and shaping the moss ball to selecting plants and understanding proper care techniques. This mindful, tactile process encourages creativity while fostering a deeper connection with nature. All tools and materials are provided, making the workshop beginner-friendly and suitable for both adults and children.
By the end of the session, you will take home your own handcrafted kokedama— a living artwork created with your hands, inspired by the vivid colours and organic spirit of the exhibition. Seats are limited to maintain an intimate and engaging experience. Secure your place and be part of this special creative activation at Nuanu Creative City.
