ABOUT PRINT MAKING
Printmaking is among the earliest practice of graphic art, and it is traditionally practiced in the Far East. Originally used as a medium to create print patterns for fabric, then it is applied as a tool for printing text and graphics on paper in the 5th century in Tiongkok. This technique for paper printing was first introduced around the 15th century in Europe, then the Japanese followed suit.

ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE
Relief printing is a technique that utilizes carving the pattern into linoleum. The peak (higher surface) is then greased with ink using a rubber paint roller. Then it's pressed against the fabric to transfer the ink to its surface.
