What happens when musicians can't see each other?

Blindfolded Ensemble is a live improvisation experiment where musicians come together blindfolded and create music in the moment. Guided by the conductor and deep listening, intuition, rhythm, and spontaneous interaction, the ensemble builds a musical journey that can never be repeated in quite the same way.

There is no setlist.
No fixed arrangement.
No rehearsal.

Completely spontaneous.

Led by conductor Miyoshi Masato, the ensemble brings together musicians from different musical backgrounds to explore what happens when communication moves beyond words and visual signals.
