The Lusa Merdeka Lap is a dash from Lusa by/Suka down the Canggu Shortcut to Muda by/Suka; there you grab a Indonesian Flag as the symbol for Indonesian Independence & Freedom. You will then sprint your way down to Batu Bolong Beach and run towards Berawa Beach…

Wait wait…. Here comes the twist…..

Indonesian Independence games must be completed before you can proceed past the 3 checkpoints

1) Kerupuk Eating - Each Team of 2 will have to munch down a Kerupuk until the Judge gives them a clearance…. From there they continue their sprint down the beach…..

then...

2) Gunny Sack Race - Each team of 2 will have to hold 1 Gunny sack over their legs up to their hips (consider your teammates height lol) and make a hop, jump, walk down the beach 50 meters, go around the pole and come back to the start line where the judge will give them clearance to continue on their journey of Merdeka! 

then...

3) Marble and Spoon - 1 partner will go on the other side of the 20 meter mark, the other start with the marble in the spoon (in their mouth) and begin the walk across the sand to exchange the marble with their partner… Once the second person has returned the marble to the starting line the team may continue.

Drops are restarts and this might be the equalizer for the slower runners to catch those without the marble walking, Grupuk eating or Gunny Sack skills. 


Now you make the turn off of Berawa Beach Headed to Lusa by/Suka...

Wait... One more Task… Bringing Regenerative Rice to those in need! 

Your team will carry a 10KG bag of Regenerative Rice from the Beach down to Lusa by/Suka that will go to a family in need!
