When home is no longer a place one can return to, memory becomes the only space left to belong. Through Eksil, UCICU invites audiences to reflect on exile, identity, and the emotional weight of being separated from one’s homeland for decades.

Followed by a discussion with director Lola Amaria, the session will further explore how memories, personal stories, and cinema itself can preserve voices, histories, and a sense of home across distance and time.
