“Don’t miss the MUMULAND Festival this Friday Aug 23rd at Rumah Tanjung Bungkak, Denpasar !”

MUMULAND Festival is a theatrical EDM extravanganza of Art, Music, Dance, Technology, Sculptures, Horse Archery and Fire never before seen in Bali.

Over 100 Indonesian artists will be involved so please dip into your pockets and support them. MUMULAND is a non-commercial, non-profit organisation and all excess monies collected will be distributed equally amongst all of the artists involved.

Mumuland for Ravers (from 7pm)

At 7pm MUMULAND will be transformed into a replica of an early 1990’s Rave Warehouse starting with Ecstatic Dance from Hoda Fadel followed by a great line-up of 3 DJs, Rap, Death Metal, a Drag Queen, GoGo dancers and much, much more !!!

MUMULAND is inspired by a 1991 #1 hit in the UK & USA Singles Charts performed by the UK House Band The KLF (also known as the Justified Ancients of Mumu).

If you are aged between 45 and 65 you will almost certainly remember the KLF !

The whole event will be Livestreamed Globally with drop in celebrities from UK & beyond !

MUMULAND is a theatrical performance evoking the mysteries of Ancient Sundaland ! MUMULAND/Sundaland was an ancient civilisation that sank below the waves at the end of the last Ice Age, remnants of which remain throughout Indonesia including Gunung Padang near Bandung. MUMULAND evokes the spirit of Ancient Sundaland, described by some archeologists as the true location of the legendary lost continent of MU. At MUMULAND Festival participants can immerse themselves in the mysterious and creative chaos crafted by The KLF, and understand how their bold and controversial actions have influenced contemporary art both globally and in Bali. 

Throughout the day documentaries will be screened, taking the audience on an in-depth journey into the history and legacy of MUMULAND, The KLF, and the KLFRS Bali Team all known for their controversial media stunts and chaos magic philosophy. 

The KLF Reenactment Society (Bali Chapter) is part of a global movement dedicated to promoting the K Foundation, an art foundation established by The KLF, and the controversies surrounding it.
