A SACRED INDIGENOUS CONCERT where ancestral songs are offered as living prayers, carrying the wisdom, memory, and spirit of the Amazon rainforest.
This evening at Zest is a ceremonial concert offering sacred songs from the Amazon rainforest, shared by indigenous artists and cultural carriers Paka and Rurá Kamanawa. In their culture, songs are prayers. They carry stories of the forest, the ancestors, and the relationships that sustain life. Through music, Paka and Rurá invite the community into a space of listening, gratitude, and quiet connection.
The concert will unfold organically, moving between song, silence, and moments of shared presence. While the atmosphere is ceremonial, this is a listening experience rather than a participatory workshop. Guests are welcome to receive the music in stillness, reflection, singing along or movement.
This gathering is open and inclusive, designed to welcome the wider community into an experience of indigenous music as living prayer. No prior experience is needed, only respect for the space and the traditions being shared.
