ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Raw Expression - Voice & Body is a structured immersive workshop combining somatic movement, voice exploration, and improvisation.

This experience explores the body and the voice as one connected system — investigating how sensation, sound, movement, emotion, and awareness interact with each other.

Through guided solo, partner, and group practices, participants develop embodied presence, authentic expression, creative awareness, and deeper connection with themselves and others.

The workshop moves from inner impulse into physical movement and vocal expression — and from there into shared experience.

Voice becomes movement.

FACILITATORS

DAVE — Facilitator

Dave is a movement artist based in Bali, musician, and creator of Movimiento — a body-based approach to expression and awareness.

With over 17 years of experience in dance, somatic practice, and meditation, his work explores not only how you move, but how you choose to move — investigating the relationship between impulse, emotion, awareness, and choice through the body.

GHIJA — Facilitator

Born in the North-East of Italy into a family of artists, Ghija has worked since the age of sixteen as a performer, choir director, vocal coach, and opera singer.

She has created and performed various shows across Italy, Australia, and Asia, and is now based in Bali, where she focuses on her own artistic projects while working as a vocal coach and educator — combining technical precision with expressive depth.

HOW TO GET TO SOL STUDIO

1. Arrive at Nuanu Parking 1 / Guest Parking

2. Show your Nuanu entrance QR at the gate

3. Take the shuttle buggy inside Nuanu

4. Ask the driver to bring you to SOL Studio

The shuttle ride takes approximately 5 minutes.

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the workshop starts.
