Intimate, casual, and dance-focused, with an emphasis on quality music and sound.

This Week’s Curator: ROBA GROW (BASSTATIC DANCE)

Roba Grow is the founder of Basstatic Dance, the selector with zero bpm limits. His Dj sets are visceral and boundless, complemented by future sounds and rhythms of ethnic instruments to fuse connection the body’s movement and our forgotten ancestral past. Roba’s music selection touches a multitude of feelings, from the lightest to the darkest corners of the soul’s yearning to be free. He believes in and practices authenticity, real connection in real time between people and quality bass music’s low end frequencies. Emphasizing the power in the passing melodies in each moment, his sets are never recorded and a camera’s lens could never truly capture the vibe of the dance. Broken, almost formless rhythms and sound give way to maximizing creative spaces for dancers, steppers, shakers!
