Rodrigo Gallardo is a Chilean composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose music bridges the ancient sounds of the Andes with the depth and energy of contemporary electronic music.

With the charango, zampoña, guitars, powerful vocals, deep bass, and hypnotic electronic rhythms at the heart of his sound, Rodrigo creates a musical language that feels both deeply rooted and entirely modern.

A founding member of Matanza, Rodrigo spent nearly a decade developing a signature fusion of Latin American folklore and electronic music before embarking on his solo career in 2016. Since then, he has released six albums and established himself as a recognised artist within the international organic electronic scene.

His live performances have taken him across Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, with appearances at internationally renowned platforms and festivals including Cercle, Fusion, Envision, Dreamersland, Ostrava, and Amanita.

Now, in 2026, Rodrigo enters a new artistic chapter. Following the release of his first live album, his latest work returns closer to his folk roots — exploring the relationship between ancestral music, contemporary production, and collective consciousness. His latest single, “El Vuelo de una Mariposa,” marks the beginning of this new era.
