The Art of Fire Dance is a 1 day initiation and comprehensive introduction into The Art of Fire Dance for Women looking to explore deeper aspects of herself through the flames. 

Fire gifts us the opportunity to tap Into our inner strength and connect with our innermost thoughts and feelings.

This is not just a workshop on how to learn to fire dance but a powerful and transformative space.

Each moment is woven with the wisdom of the fire element. These qualities represent passion, creativity, and determination.
In many traditions, fire is seen as a powerful force that can bring warmth, light, and transformation. It is also associated with strength, courage, and the ability to overcome obstacles, and it is here in this container that we shall journey into the flames of our hearts together.
 

In this one day beginners workshop we will spend our time journeying through 

- A powerful burn ritual
- Important Fire Safety Wisdom

- An introduction into the Foundations of Flow Arts

- Building lasting confidence and connect with your inner fire goddess

- Drop into a supported container of sisters

- Release fears and meeting new wild parts of yourself

- Explore movement pathways & build upon them whilst learning to find your own unique flow

- Learn tricks & techniques with beginners fire prop (Fire Wands)

- Learn a sexy group choreography to anchor in your new fire vixen skills

 

We will build confidence through fire safety knowledge and exploring different movement pathways based on the foundations of flow as well as honouring and creating space for our own unique dance. 

 

As we begin to advance into learning different fire tricks and techniques, we are invited to look deeper into the metaphors laced within this sacred element and how they reflect outwardly in our lives. 

 

This practice allows us to alchemize these sacred teachings, marrying the practical and esoteric, symbolically bringing them together to create a powerful group performance piece to share at the end of the evening.

Fire is a wild and sacred element that has been used as a tool in ceremony and ritual for eons, to cleanse, release, set powerful intentions and bring us into deep presence.

 

In this workshop you will be guided to connect with the sacred flame, while we evoke the wild woman from within and bring her out to play. 

We will create a safe and supportive container together where we have the opportunity to explore our own unique dance as we are guided through the foundational principles of flow arts.

 

Combining metaphor, intention and play. It is here that Fire becomes a powerful tool for transformation
