SundaSana: Cultural Open Circle and Intuitive Sound Session

17+
01:30pm, Mon 17th Aug 2026

An intuitive gathering of music, singing, rhythm, deep listening, and collective improvisation.

"Sunda" is our tribe from West Java, and "Sana" means a peaceful mind.

This is a free community gathering where we come together to create music in the moment. Bring an instrument, your voice, or simply your presence. Through intuitive improvisation and gentle guidance, we’ll explore sound as a way to connect, express, listen, and co-create.

No musical experience is needed—only curiosity and an open heart.

What to bring:

  • An acoustic instrument (flute, drum, guitar, kalimba, singing bowl, shaker, etc.)

  • Your voice

  • A cushion or yoga mat

  • Water

Don’t have an instrument?

No problem. A selection of instruments will be available to rent for Rp. 25,000 during the session.

There is no audience. There are no performers. We create the music together.

Then, we will continue with a soulful meditation, JiwaTama. "Jiwa" means soul, "Tama" is the main, primary, major. JiwaTama means the primacy of the soul.

This meditation session blends the silent introspection of Vipassana with grounding Javanese wisdom to help you cultivate profound inner peace. Perfect for all experience levels, this supportive group gathering invites you to slow down, anchor yourself in the present, and discover a lasting sanctuary of stillness within.

What to bring: seat cushion and water.
